Frequently Asked Questions

What is Meal Ticket?

Meal Ticket is a weekly meal delivery service founded by Chef Aaron Elliott. We specialize in plant-based, organic meals with a rotating menu weekly. Meal Ticket currently services the Greater Los Angeles Area.

How do I reserve a spot?

Join our mailing list to get early access to our weekly menus! Menus will be emailed before they are posted to the @mealticketla instagram. To reserve your spot for the upcoming week, email or DM “IN” once the weekly menu has dropped. Spots must be reserved by Saturday at 9am. Reservations are based on a first come first serve basis, with 10 spots available each week… RUN, don’t walk!

How much does it cost?

The cost of Meal Ticket is $250 per week + local delivery fee. Pickup in Leimert Park is free! Payment can be made via Zelle or Venmo.

How does delivery / pickup work?

Deliveries are made around 6:30pm every Monday. You will be charged for the delivery fee once the food has been delivered.

Pickup is always free! We will text you the pick up address on the day of your order.

How much food is in each order?

Each order contains all 6 menu items. Each menu item contains 2 servings and can feed up to 2 people. Food is meant to be mixed & matched throughout the week and will stay fresh in your refrigerator for at least 5 days.

What type of packaging is used?

All our food packaging is made from renewable plant-based materials. This packaging is 100% compostable.

For soups, we use 100% recyclable deli cups though we highly encourage you to repurpose these in your kitchen!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes! All of our meals are 100% vegan and plant-based, and can be made gluten-free upon request. Any other allergies or dietary restrictions will be taken into account when preparing meals.

How are ingredients sourced?

We source everything weekly from local farmers markets. Chef Aaron personally selects ingredients for each menu based on what is seasonally available.

What oils do you use?

We only use organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, and organic avocado oil in our meals. We are committed to never using seed oils of any kind.

Can I make substitutions?

We are not taking substitution requests at this time. With our weekly rotating menu, we hope to offer something for everyone but understand each ingredient may not appeal to all.
